Lumixa consists of a topical gel that is applied to the face and then activated by a professional LED device like the Cube Light to generate FLE. This penetrates the epidermal and dermal layers to repair, regenerate and energise skin.  Proven to reduce inflammation and boost collagen. Lumixa can be combined with other aesthetic treatments for superior and longer lasting results.

Lumixa Skin Normaliser targets the signs and symptoms of inflammageing (dehydrated, reactive or dull skin, first signs of skin ageing).

First, skin is cleansed with the gentle Cliniccare concentrated cleansing foam to remove any make-up and impurities, leaving the skin fresh and product free. The skin is dried and then areas such as eyebrows and areas of significant hyperpigmentation are protected with Vaseline.

Lumixa Activator Gel is mixed with Lumixa Fluorophore Gel and a thick layer is applied to the skin. The LED blue light is activated. Goggles will be worn during treatment.

The gel is then removed and the skin is cleansed again with Cliniccare cleansing foam and toned with the Hyal+ skin toner. To finish Cliniccare Sun screen is applied to protect the skin.

A series of 5 Lumixa fluorescent light energy treatments are recommended and the treatments can be conducted once every 7-14 days.

Optimum results will be achieved 12-18 weeks after treatment.

At Nouveau Skin & Laser Clinic you will be advised a home skincare routine for after your skin rejuvenation treatment to get maximum results and ensure your skin is protected.

Daily application of sunscreen with a minimum of 30SPF is highly recommended after each treatment and during the treatment course. 

Use of a moisturiser is advised as skin may feel drier or tighter immediately after treatment.

After treatment some people may experience redness and erythema but this will only last a short time and will subside after the course of treatment. In darker skins a slight bronzing effect may happen but this is only for a very short time and will also subside after the course of treatments. Freckles and areas of hyperpigmentation may temporarily become more pronounced. Failure to wear sunscreen can increase the above potential treatment outcomes.
