LED Light Therapy works on the skin at a cellular level to rejuvenate, accelerate healing and combat acne. It stimulates the skin’s natural rejuvenation and repair processes without discomfort or downtime.

First the skin is cleansed with our soothing Cleansing Lotion with botanical extracts to gently remove impurities, unnecessary sebum and make-up. This leaves the skin soft and product free. Next, we use our enzymatic peeling gel that gently exfoliates to unclog blocked pores and remove the top layer of dead skin cells, leaving the skin feeling silky soft and helping to prepare for the LED treatment. Then we remove any residue with HYAL+ Skin Toner which contains a very high concentration of low molecular weight Hyaluronic acid, to deeply hydrate and plump the skin.

Depending on your specific skin needs, a suitable skin product will be used such as a moisturising essence or a 2-in-1 vitamin C gel. These products help promote new collagen and elastin fibres and help maintain firmness, stimulate micro-circulation and protect the skin against the signs of ageing.

The skin is then exposed to LED light therapy which uses infra-red lights in different wavelengths, each of which have different skincare benefits.

After your treatment a suitable mask will be applied -

After blue light: The CLINICCARE EGF Pure Mask is a soothing and calming sheet mask that contains low molecular weight Hyaluronic acid, Beta Glucan and Niacinamide. The long-lasting anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties result in deep relief, skin rejuvenation and hydration to troubled skin and acne-like conditions.

After red light: The CLINICCARE EGF Refresh/Tight Mask is a soothing, rejuvenating and hydrating facial sheet mask, with Hyaluronic acid, Argireline and Synthetic Snake Neuro Peptide for an intensive anti-wrinkle and lifting effect.

The lightweight Lip & Renewal Cream is used to help reverse the multiple signs of ageing around these two delicate areas. Low molecular weight Hyaluronic acid together with Squalene optimises hydration, minimises sensitivity, increases elasticity, and protects against environmental damage. Finally Cliniccare Sun Shield Screen is applied to provide effective all day protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays, thanks to its 13 hour formula.

At Nouveau Skin & Laser we recommend you have LED facial once a week for up to 10 weeks and then once every 1-2 months.

LED Light Therapy can also be combined with other facials and aesthetic treatments for superior and long lasting results.

Avoid intense UV exposure/sun beds for 7 days prior to treatment and 48 hours after treatment.

Daily application of SPF 30 and above is recommended.
