Your skin is cleansed with Clinicare cleansing foam to remove any make-up and deep cleanse the face. Clinisept is applied to help prepare the skin by ensuring it is clean and free from impurities before treatment.

The  diamond-chip-microdermabrasion machine is glided over the area to be deeply exfoliated. The diamond chips abrade away old, dead skin cells, blackheads, whiteheads, and superficial spots, which the vacuum then picks up with gentle suction. Unlike certain chemical peels and laser resurfacing, the Diamond  Microdermabrasion skin exfoliation is relatively painless; therefore, anesthesia is not required. The skin is then gently exfoliated to remove any remaining dead skin cells using the enzymatic peeling gel. Next, any leftover residue is removed with the Hyal+ toner.

After your microdermabrasion LED light therapy is used to enhance results and calm the skin. The Pure mask and ice globes are then applied to soothe and hydrate. Once removed, Lip & Eye Renewal cream is used to hydrate those two delicate areas and a suitable moisturising lotion is gently massaged into the skin and finally Cliniccare sunscreen SPF 30+ is placed on top to protect the skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays.  

We advise that our clients have diamond microdermabrasion every 1-4 weeks, depending on the condition of your skin. It is recommended to have between 6-12 treatments to give the best results and transform the look and feel of your skin.

Avoid exfoliating products whilst having your course of treatments.

Stay out of the sun for at least 48 hrs and always wear SPF 30+
Keep the skin moisturised with your recommended skincare moisturiser

Avoid the gym or heavy exercise for 24 hours
Wait 12 hours before wearing make up

For 24 hours: No swimming, facial waxing or fake tan application

• Up to 48 Hours after: No sauna, sun beds or sun exposure. No botox, collagen injections or dermal fillers.
• For 72 Hours: Do not use any anti-ageing creams, AHA’s, glycolics, retinol or exfoliating products.

Reactions from treatment include: Redness and swelling, this is short-lived. The skin may be dry and flaky for a day or 2 or longer if you have sensitive skin, this is why it is important to make sure the skin is well moisturised. Some people may experience slight bruising but this is less common.
